Meet Amanda! After the military, she was unsure what career path she wanted to pursue while being an involved mother to her 5 children and a dedicated wife. Amanda has always been obsessed with candles. She has always enjoyed trying different scents as she added to her candle collection. Her favorite thing about them is smell is the first thing you notice when you walk into any home. Whether the aromas are sweet, earthy, or floral – you immediately feel welcome.
It was Amanda’s hope that she could create a candle that wouldn’t burn up or lose their scent so quickly. That’s when Quality in Mind Candles was born. Amanda was determined to make a high quality product that everyone could enjoy as long as possible – no matter where you are in the house or office. Each product offers a list of their scent’s top notes, middle notes, and high notes.

The Benefits of Using a Paraffin and Soy Wax Blend
We use a blend of Paraffin/Soy wax because of the great benefits that happen when they are combined. For starters, the increased scent load with a blend compared to a full paraffin, we are able to use the maximum scent load in every candle to ensure a great cold and hot throw. Blending both waxes also make the candle last longer. The 70/30 blend that is used makes it better for a single pour and sticks to the jars better than other waxes – this is wonderful since we make all of our products in small batches. Using soy in the mixture also increases the length of burn and the solidity of the wax. The paraffin allows the candle to have a great hot throw throughout the burned area which keeps our customers coming back! Using the blend also saves on money compared to that of a full soy wax, which allows our Colorado Candle Company to keep our prices competitive, making them continuously affordable for our customers! This is why we have been able to sustain our largely scaled loyal customer base.
Our wax melts are 100% soy wax.
